Is SumUp hiring? Open roles, functions and locations (2026)

This page reads every active posting attributed to SumUp across the ten boards JobsPipe collects (LinkedIn, Indeed, Y Combinator, Workday, Greenhouse, Workable, SmartRecruiters, Ashby, Lever and Paylocity) and reports the mix as shares: which functions and titles the company posts, how senior the roles are, where they sit, which skills the text names, and which boards carry them. Only percentages are published; the underlying counts stay private.

77.0% of SumUp's open roles were first sighted in the last 30 days, 35.3% in the last 14, 22.9% have been open for more than 30 days. 2.5% of the postings are marked remote and 21.3% state a salary or range. The remote flag is read from the posting itself, so hybrid roles that never say remote count as on-site.

The largest function is Sales at 18.9%, followed by Finance & Accounting at 6.6%. 25.4% of the roles are located in Brazil, then Germany at 24.6%. The titles SumUp posts most are Outside Sales Account Executive, IT Operations Lead and Sales Executive.

FAQ

Is SumUp hiring right now?+

Yes. JobsPipe's index holds active postings attributed to SumUp, and 77.0% of them were first sighted in the last 30 days (35.3% in the last 14). New sightings are the cleanest read of whether hiring is live rather than a backlog of stale listings; 22.9% of the open roles have been up for more than 30 days.

What roles is SumUp hiring for?+

By function, the largest shares are Sales (18.9%), Finance & Accounting (6.6%) and Operations (2.5%). The titles posted most often are Outside Sales Account Executive, IT Operations Lead, Sales Executive, Growth Associate and Field Sales Territory Manager. Function is assigned from the normalized title and the posting text, and titles are the canonical form of the posting's own title.

Does SumUp hire remote?+

2.5% of SumUp's active postings carry a remote flag. The flag is read from the posting itself, so hybrid roles that never say remote are counted as on-site. Filter the API with remote set to true and company_name_or set to the company to reproduce the figure.

Where is SumUp hiring?+

By posting location, the largest shares are Brazil (25.4%), Germany (24.6%) and United States (19.7%). The company is headquartered in London, United Kingdom. Location is the country on the posting, not the headquarters, so a company can post mostly outside the country it is based in.

How do I get SumUp's postings from the API?+

POST to /v1/jobs/search with company_name_or set to ["SumUp"] and status set to active. There is no domain filter; the company name is matched as it appears on the posting. Add job_title_or, remote or job_country_code_or to narrow the result, and discovered_at_gte to keep only roles sighted after a date.

How are roles attributed to SumUp?+

By the employer domain on the posting. When a board or ATS exposes the employer's website, JobsPipe resolves it to a domain and groups every posting under it; postings that only carry a company name are matched to a domain where the name is unambiguous. Domain attribution is a signal, not proof: a staffing partner can post under a client's name, and a subsidiary can post under its parent's domain.
