# Report abuse

JobsPipe data may be used only as our Acceptable Use Policy allows. If you believe it is being misused, or that we are affecting your site, tell us. We acknowledge every complete report within one business day.

## Who can report

Anyone. In particular:

-   Owners and operators of sites we collect job postings from.
-   People named in a job posting that JobsPipe serves.
-   Anyone who believes JobsPipe data, an API key or a JobsPipe account is being misused.

## How to report

Email [abuse@jobspipe.dev](mailto:abuse@jobspipe.dev). Please include:

-   The URLs involved: where you saw the data, the page it came from, or the site being affected.
-   JobsPipe record ids, if you have them.
-   Dates and times, with a time zone, of what you observed.
-   A description of what happened and why you believe it breaks our Terms or Acceptable Use Policy.
-   How we can reach you if we need more detail.

To have your own name removed from a posting, write to [privacy@jobspipe.dev](mailto:privacy@jobspipe.dev) instead; we respond within 30 days. Security vulnerabilities go to [security@jobspipe.dev](mailto:security@jobspipe.dev), as described in the [Security overview](/trust/security).

## What happens next

We acknowledge every complete report within one business day. Then:

-   We check that the report is complete and relates to JobsPipe.
-   We investigate the account, API key or activity it describes.
-   We may restrict access while we investigate.
-   We act under our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy, up to suspending or closing the account.
-   We cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.

To protect everyone involved, we may not be able to tell you what action we took against a specific account.

## Site owners

Requests about how we collect from your site, such as its request rate or which pages we read, go through the same channel. Tell us the site and what you would like changed. How we collect in general is described on [Ethical public web data](/trust/ethics).
