# Ethical public web data.

Job postings are published to be found. JobsPipe collects the ones that are public, normalizes them into one schema and sends every reader back to the original posting. The Trust Center shows how we collect, how we review the way customers use the data, how we protect the service and the people in it, and how to reach us.

## Protecting our customers

Customers get postings that anyone could read on the open web, collected without accounts or logins, under terms that spell out what the data may and may not be used for.

## Respecting the sites we read

We read each posting as rarely as we can, limit request rates per site, and link every record back to the original posting so the source keeps the applicant.

## Respecting the people in the data

We collect job postings, not people. Where a posting names a recruiter, we keep only what the posting shows and remove it on request.
