What the Insights API answers

Occupation demand

Posting volume and share by ISCO-08 occupation over a rolling window, plus trending occupations by growth.

GET /v1/insights/occupations

Salary benchmark

P10-P90 advertised-pay percentiles by occupation, title, country and seniority - every result carries its sample size and a confidence grade, and thin cells are suppressed rather than reported.

POST /v1/insights/salary/benchmark

Skills: top and trending

The skills employers ask for per occupation, and which are growing month over month.

GET /v1/insights/occupations/{code}/skills/trending

Industry trends

Demand and trending skills by ISIC industry division.

GET /v1/insights/industries

AI exposure

The share of postings mentioning AI tooling per occupation or industry, with the advertised-pay premium between AI and non-AI roles.

GET /v1/insights/technology/ai-exposure

Built to be trusted, not just quoted

Every benchmark carries its sample size and a confidence grade. Cells below the minimum sample threshold are suppressed. The salary disclosure rate of the corpus is published, not hidden.

How this differs from the incumbents

The reference vendors in this category are excellent and expensive: enterprise contracts, sales cycles, and salary models that blend postings with government survey data. JobsPipe Insights is the self-serve tier of the same market: postings-only methodology, transparent sample sizes, API-first delivery, and pricing that starts at free. If you need decade-deep history or modeled compensation, buy the incumbent. If you need current-market demand and advertised-pay signals your team can query this afternoon, start here.

FAQ

Is the salary data from surveys?

No. Every number is computed from pay ranges stated in live job postings. We do not blend government survey data (like BLS OES) into the estimates, which is how several incumbent compensation products are built. The trade-off is honest: postings measure advertised pay from disclosing employers, not realized earnings - so we publish the disclosure-rate denominator instead of hiding it.

What share of postings carry salary data?

Roughly a quarter of postings across the full multi-country corpus state pay - higher in US jurisdictions with transparency laws, far lower in most of Europe. Benchmark responses return the sample size behind every percentile so you can judge each cell, and cells below the minimum sample threshold are suppressed rather than reported.

How much history is there?

The live corpus is a rolling 12 months of postings. Monthly aggregates are archived indefinitely from 2026 onward, so trend series grow every month.

How is this priced?

Insights endpoints are metered like the rest of the API. Free tier is 1,000 jobs/month with no credit card required; Builder is $49/month for 100,000. For custom cuts, bulk aggregates, or an SLA, book a call - there is no procurement cycle for the self-serve tiers.
