What Companies Use Salesforce?

What companies use Salesforce? Job postings across sales, marketing, admin and engineering name it; here is who is hiring for it and how to read the list.

What companies use Salesforce? Far more than an engineering-only search would suggest. Salesforce is named in sales, marketing, revenue operations and administration postings as well as developer roles, so the hiring record is wide. Below is the list of employers with the most active postings naming it, the industry and size mix, and the way to rebuild it.

The employers with the most active postings naming Salesforce, as of 2026-09-09:

  • Salesforce
  • Thermo Fisher Scientific
  • Accenture
  • Capgemini
  • Airwallex
  • Amazon.com
  • Amazon Web Services
  • ABB
  • Deloitte
  • EPAM Systems

Salesforce itself appears because its postings name its own products. Systems integrators appear because they staff implementations for clients. The rest are customers hiring the administrators, developers and sales teams who work in it every day. The full list is on the companies using Salesforce page.

How to find out what companies use Salesforce

  1. Search by skill across every function. Call POST /v1/jobs/search with skills_or set to ["salesforce"] and no title filter. The results include account executives, marketing operations managers, Salesforce administrators and Apex developers, which is the point: a CRM is used by the whole revenue side of a company.
  2. Read the function to read the depth. A Salesforce administrator or developer posting means a production org and a budget. An account executive posting that lists Salesforce experience as a plus means a CRM the team uses, not a platform the company builds on. Narrow with job_title_or when you want only the first kind.
  3. Separate vendor, integrator and customer. Drop Salesforce’s own postings by company name. Consultancies hire for client projects, so their postings say which products are in demand, not which they run. What remains is the customer list.
  4. Cut by industry and size. Use isic_division_or and the employee count filters, or read the chart below. CRM choice tends to track company size, which you can check against the companies using HubSpot page.
  5. Treat the first admin posting as a signal. A company that has never named Salesforce and then posts for an administrator is rolling it out or migrating to it. The hiring signals API is built for watching accounts for exactly that kind of first posting.
  • Software and IT services17.9%
  • Financial services5.1%
  • Employment and staffing3.9%
  • Healthcare2.0%
  • Electronics manufacturing2.0%
  • 1000+ employees25.2%
  • 201-1000 employees7.3%
  • 51-200 employees3.6%
  • 1-50 employees3.1%
Share of active postings naming Salesforce, by employer industry (top five ISIC divisions) and by employer size band. Size bands omit postings whose employer headcount is unknown.

Which companies use Salesforce the most is a different question from how many. On share, 1.9% of active postings name it, a minority of postings and a measure of hiring that mentions the product rather than of the installed base. Because the mentions come from sales and operations roles as well as engineering, the share understates it less than for a purely technical tool.

Where JobsPipe fits

JobsPipe is a jobs data API that collects live postings from LinkedIn, Indeed, Y Combinator, Naukri, Workday, Greenhouse, Workable, SmartRecruiters, Ashby, Lever and Paylocity, returns them as one schema with closure tracking and a ghost score, and includes a free tier of 1,000 jobs a month. The customer list, restricted to the roles that prove a production org, is one request against jobspipe.dev:

curl -X POST https://api.jobspipe.dev/v1/jobs/search \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $JOBSPIPE_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{ "skills_or": ["salesforce"], "job_title_or": ["salesforce administrator", "salesforce developer"], "status": "active", "limit": 100 }'

Each row carries company, date_posted and technology_slugs, so the same response shows what else the revenue stack contains.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which companies use Salesforce?

As of 2026-09-09, employers with the most active postings naming Salesforce include Salesforce, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Accenture, Capgemini, Airwallex. The list mixes Salesforce itself, systems integrators staffing client projects and customers hiring administrators, developers and sales teams. The live version is one search with skills_or set to ["salesforce"].

Do non-engineering postings count as using Salesforce?

Yes, and they are most of the signal. Account executive, marketing operations, revenue operations and Salesforce administrator postings all name it. An administrator or developer posting proves a production org; a sales posting that lists Salesforce experience as a plus proves the team uses a CRM. Filter with job_title_or to keep the kind you want.

How is this different from a technographics vendor's list?

Technographics vendors infer CRM use from website scripts, form handlers and surveys. Salesforce mostly runs behind a login, so postings are often the only public evidence. JobsPipe reads the hiring record and pairs it with a website scan; the result is a list with a date, a role and a board of origin behind every name.
