JobsPipe for Slack: search live job postings without leaving the channel

Hiring research usually happens in a browser tab nobody else can see. JobsPipe for Slack moves it into the room: ask for the roles you care about in plain English, get normalized postings from 30+ ATS feeds and job boards back in the channel, and keep narrowing the search in the thread where your team is already talking. Everyone connects their own account, so searches draw on their own credits and no API key is ever shared across the workspace.

JobsPipe now runs inside Slack. Ask for the roles you care about in the channel where your team already works, and get live postings back in seconds - no dashboard, no browser tab, no copy-pasting results into a thread so everyone else can see them.

It is the same engine behind the JobsPipe dashboard and API: postings pulled from 30+ ATS feeds and job boards, normalized and deduplicated into one schema, with the company, location, salary and recency attached.

Ask in plain English

There are no filter flags to memorize. Type the search the way you would say it to a colleague:

/jobspipe senior rust engineers in Berlin posted this week
/jobspipe react developers hiring in NYC, remote ok
/jobspipe fintech backend roles across the Nordics
/jobspipe what does stripe.com run on

Region words, seniority, recency, remote and hybrid, employment type and source all get translated into real filters for you. That last example is the other half of JobsPipe: point it at a domain and it returns the technologies that company actually serves - frameworks, analytics, CDNs, payments and SaaS widgets - which is how a lot of teams qualify an account before they reach out.

Keep narrowing it in the thread

Mention @JobsPipe in a channel and the conversation stays where your team can see it. Reply in the thread to tighten the search and it remembers what you already asked:

@JobsPipe react developers hiring in NYC

   |_ @JobsPipe only seed stage, remote ok

        |_ @JobsPipe drop anything from job boards, ATS only

Recruiters, founders and sales teams end up using this the same way: one thread per search, refined in public, with the result sitting next to the discussion instead of in someone’s private tab.

Everyone brings their own account

A workspace does not share one API key. Each person runs /jobspipe link once and connects their own JobsPipe account, which means usage is attributed to the person who ran the search, one teammate’s quota is never everyone else’s ceiling, and no credential is ever typed into a Slack message. Disconnecting is one command.

Setting it up

Three steps, about a minute:

  • Add JobsPipe to your workspace from Slack settings in the dashboard.
  • Run /jobspipe link and click through to connect your account.
  • Invite the bot to any channel with /invite @JobsPipe if you want to mention it there.

Searches from Slack draw on the same monthly credits as the API and the dashboard, so there is nothing extra to buy and nothing extra to meter. The free tier works in Slack from day one.

Search live postings from 30+ job boards - in Slack, in the dashboard, or over the API. Free tier, API key in 30 seconds.
